IDMATRIXX Identity Theft Protection Solution Deployed by Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union

San Francisco, CA – February, 22, 2007 – IDMatrixx, a provider of identity and secure access solutions, announced today they are deploying their flagship IDSERVER™ multi-factor authentication system in all the branches of Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union to further protect the identity of their customers.

With the ever-increasing concern and occurrence of identity theft and access to financial assets, stronger security and more stringent authentication solutions are necessary, especially at financial institutions. Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union is upping the ante in further protecting their customers with a multi-factor identity theft solution from IDMatrixx.

IDMatrixx IDSERVER™ solution consists of client-server software and a multi-factor authentication scanner, which includes smartcard, magstripe, PIN and multiple biometric capabilities. The device plugs into the PC at the bank branch where the client software is also installed. The server software is installed at the bank’s headquarters. The customers enroll into the system at the bank location within 2-3 seconds. The customer information is securely stored on the back end server at the headquarters. In case of the biometric authentication, the customer simply places their finger on the scanner without revealing any other information, and is identified by the bank official in less than 3 seconds. . The IDMatrixx solution gives the enterprise customer the flexibility to use any operating system, database or application server. The biometric capability adds additional authentication and makes the solution foolproof.

"Our members are enthusiastic about this solution.  Having used biometrics on our kiosks since 1997, biometrics on our teller line was the logical next step for us.  Our Staff and members love the convenience and the additional security provided by biometrics technology, which ensures that their identity it protected. The IDMatrixx solution was easy to install and enrolls the customer in a user-friendly manner" said Gail Kohler, Senior Vice President of Information Technology at Purdue Credit Union.

IDMatrixx patented technology enables the enterprise customer to be independent of the type of fingerprint scanner used for enrolling or matching the biometric information. This solves a key problem of interoperability for the enterprise customer. Once a customer enrolls in a branch, they can go into any other branch without the need of other identification and be easily authenticated with just their finger scan.

"We are excited to add Purdue Credit Union to our enterprise customer list and to help them solve the problem of identity theft for their customers,” said Guri Walia, President of IDMatrixx. “IDMatrixx provides the most comprehensive and secure solution to help solve the problem of identity theft."

IDMatrixx technology extracts 80 data points from a finger scan which is further encrypted and stored in the database. The data point template cannot be reverse engineered to reproduce the user's fingerprint.  The bank protects their customers’ identity and provides customer convenience.  Additional ROI comes from helping the bank reduce fraudulent transactions as well as increasing the speed of teller transactions. The security solution works with both Windows and Unix operating systems.

IDMatrixx solution uses advanced caching techniques to increase the identification time. The more often the system is used, the faster the speed of the match. The system is very easy to integrate with and therefore can be used to provide multi-factor authentication for any application.

IDMatrixx patented technology is unique because of the following:

- Allows the enterprise customer to choose the appropriate authentication factor for the channel

- Open system provides customers with complete flexibility

- Solves the problem of interoperability

- Provides the capability of quick identification using a law enforcement based system

The solution expands to internet-authentication and allows the customers to enroll from their home. The internet-authentication solution can be deployed as a browser based solution without the need to download any software.
